This presentation will provide an introduction to the Health and Reentry Project (HARP), including how the program can positively impact individuals involved in the pretrial system and on other forms of community supervision. HARP was established to improve the health and safety of people and communities. Through education and analysis, HARP strengthens policies to expand access to health care for people directly impacted by the justice system. The the discussion will focus on the key considerations for the field including pretrial practitioners given the potential impact on the population under supervision.
